Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, University of Split.
As a part of the course "Program Engineering", students must develop their own project related to topics from this collegium. Working on an application, they develop documentation, define the architecture, develop part of functionalities and do the testing. In last two years, NETMedia - in cooperation with prof. Sven Gotovac from FESB - is offering students a mentorship on real-world problems. Our Chief of architects, Ivan Šaškor, and Damir Drnovšek have been mentors to several teams of students and have helped them to develop applications like: webshop, call center and library.

SQL/Developers Users group – these activities were emphasized in Split by Ivan Šaškor two years ago. Around 50 active members attend interesting presentations each month at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture in Split. Last two years, two teams for "Imagine Cup" were recruted, out of Users group members. In 2005, they were first in Croatia with the "Easyparking" project and they achieved good result on European championship in Greece. This year's team is applying with project called "Health master" for national competition.

Final thesis – Students can choose to write their final thesis at NETMedia. We welcomed two students in our company for their final thesis. Topics were: "Development of web services with advanced technics" and "Carreer development in NETMedia".

Student interships - In 2005, four students from Faculty of Economics and Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture did their interships in NETMedia. During interships they worked in fields of their interests by participating in on-going projects within NETMedia. Helped by mentors, students were introduced to IT business from its practical side and gained invaluable professional experience together with appropriate salary.

AIESEC / IAESTE (student associations)
As company that operates worldwide, NETMedia participate in international student exchanges as well. Last two years, 3 trainees from France came to NETMedia through AIESEC to do their interships and work in our sales and marketing team. Another trainee from Germany came through IAESTE to realize a traineeship in the Development department.
